What this site is

PawToolHub is a small collection of free browser-based tools. The first one is a dog calorie calculator that works out a dog's daily energy needs and turns that into a feeding amount.

Every tool here is a single page that runs entirely inside your own browser. There is no account to create, nothing to install, and nothing you type is sent to a server.

Who runs it

PawToolHub is run independently and published under the site name only. There is no company behind it and no team — it is one person building and maintaining the tools.

Why the tools look the way they do

Most calculators of this kind give you a number and stop there. This site tries to do three things instead:

• Show the formula, so you can repeat the arithmetic by hand and check it.
• Show the reference values used, and say which one was applied and why.
• Say plainly what the result does not cover, instead of implying it covers everything.

Where a figure comes from a published source, the source is named on the page next to the figure. Where a rule is our own choice rather than a published one, the page says so.

What is not here

No sign-up, no login, no pop-ups, no paywall, and no locked features. Nothing on this site asks you for personal information in order to work.

How the site is paid for

It is not, at the moment. The tools are free to use and there is no advertising on the site today. Third-party advertising may be added in future to cover running costs — if that happens, the privacy policy will be updated before any ad code goes live, so you can see exactly what changed.

Corrections

If a tool here is wrong, or a source is cited badly, that is worth fixing. The contact page says how to reach us.
